Hi,
I had one call from a customer saying that they can't add more than one item to the shopping cart, if try to add a second item, different than the first the shopping cart only shows the second, the first is gone.
Can I enter a manual order for the store?
I need help fast!
Thanks !
Angie

Hello Angie,

Have you added your Vendio storefront within the frame of another webpage by chance?

I have seen the shopping cart stop adding items when you access it via a frame within another webpage, Vs accessing the storefront directly.

If that is the case, you may need to adjust how you have the vendio store displayed within your website so the shopping cart can function properly.

The only way to manually create an order currently is for you to go through the storefront itself using the buyer information to complete the sale.

Christopher

Hi Christopher,
Thanks a lot for being here!
No, the only thing I've done is using my own domain: www.needletresasure.com and have a redirect service to get to the store.
I can't get an order work for more than one item!

Hello Angie,

I tested your storefront from both FireFox and Internet Explorer.

It looks like when you go through the redirect from your website the Firefox browser will allow the shopping cart to work properly but within Internet Explorer it cannot remember any shopping cart items when going through the redirect.

If you go directly to your storefront instead both work just fine.

I think the issue is that the redirect you have setup is not simply redirecting the page but also masking the URL of the page it make it look like your always at your website address rather than the storefront.

Unfortunately for the shopping cart to function properly you may need to change your redirect to stop masking the URL of the page your on so once redirected it shows the actual URL of your storefront instead.

Christopher

Thanks a lot Christopher!
I don't like to suspend the masking but will do it right now.
