If an individual's credit card does not go through for some reason. The item is no longer available to them. We really need a way to send the buyer a reminder in this case where they can once again try to pay for the item.
Instead, I have to manually process card, or return to inventory and have them purchase it again (thus having to navigate your tortuous refund system).
Give some thought to the posts here concerning these problems with cc and paypal.

Thank you for your feedback on this issue. We have passed along your request with the others, to build a new means of processing storefront transactions - where you would be able to re-send an invoice or payment reminder.
We'll post back to this forum if any announcements are availabel as to if/when this would change.
