OK. I bet you thought that I would forget. Well, I haven't. What's up with that "easy" fix for our ebay store items which appear in our Vendio stores.

I have been, was, told that a fix was forthcoming, so that we could have the "?refid=store" code attached to the ebay items accessed from our Vendio store. As you recall, when the code is attached, we are eligible to receive 75% credit on the FVF of the item sold.

Over a month has passed. The apparent inaction of Vendio on this particular subject is costing us money saved on FVFs.

Hi Bill,

- nobody thought you'd forget about this....

We are already testing this exact system with another tool, as this has been in the works ever since it was first brought up.

If all testing goes well, we may add this functionality to the storefronts.

Sorry if anyone gave you the impression that it would be an easy thing to do and that it would have already been done by this date. We can sometimes guess, but unless were making an announcement we don't set dates for these types of projects.

Regards,
Christopher

Hope it will be available to both SMIE AND the ugly stepchild: SMME

Hello Beth,

There would be no separation between SMME or SMIE for this functionality.

Bill: As I have explained multiple times, there have been no major changes to the Vendio store in some time due to a major revamp that is upcoming. I submitted your recommendation and tested the functionality with a design team member to ensure no conflicts. I made a case on your behalf on why it should be pushed forward. I provided you NO TIMEFRAME of when this would be rolled out.

Finally, you are not losing any FVF store credits through your store when the store is only showing your Vendio Store items, and not ebay auction or store items.

Your patience is asked for and appreciated.

Regards,

Ed

Ed - Yes, that is correct, in that I do not show any ebay store items in my Vendio store. I did show my ebay store items, until recently, when they were removed by me.

One of the reasons that I do not do so is that it is impossible to differentiate between store items and auction items.

The other reason, which is my main reason for not displaying the ebay items in my Vendio store - is simply that if I am unable to earn FVF referral credits, I most certainly am not going to let Vendio earn the extra commissions from CJ, when the items are sold.

When the fix is completed, I will include the ebay store items in my Vendio store.

Ed - In your above post, you mention, "there have been no major changes to the Vendio store in some time due to a major revamp that is upcoming."

Please don't tell us that there are changes coming in October, November, or December, which is our major selling season. We sat virtually dead here all Summer, which would have been a good time to adjust to a "major revamp" of the Vendio store.

I will assume that there is someone with a retail background at Vendio, who will know that any "major revamp" should take place during this month, or by mid-October at the latest.
