Well, I finally did it and opened a Vendio store but it has raise a whole lot of questions for me. What I am doing is two pronged. First is to cut Ebay expenses since I had over 500 items in my Ebay store and with the recent changes in fees and the slow down, it was taking too much of my profits. The other is hope for extra exposure. the questions are what follows.
1. First, let me state that I'm not leaving items in Ebay that are also in Vendio since each is unique and I can't afford for an item to sell in both venues at the same time. I also tend to prefer the Ebay check out for my Ebay items. Can I set it up so that it stays that way for Ebay but the Vendio store uses the Vendio check out? If so how?
2.I know that the vendio symbol now shows in my new Ebay items that link to the Vendio store but how do I add it to the existing Ebay items?
3. Can I put a link elsewhere for the Vendio store. I think I read somewhere that others mention it in their Ebay about me page but from what I read, it sounds like that may be against Ebay rules.
4. I have the gallery in my Ebay items. Will it also show the items that are in the Vendio store only?

PS, I also have noted a problem. When I went into my Vendio store there is a tab on the left that is a link for the Ebay auctions. When I clicked on it the ten items I have on auction right now appeared but also three that had been in the Ebay store with a buy it now price. Two of these items are no longer on Ebay because they are ones I moved to the Vendio store and I deleted them from Ebay.

Hello,

1. Yes, and there really isn't anything special that needs to be setup different from how you post now. Your eBay buyers would not be able to checkout for Vendio store items anywhere else anyway.
The one thing to note is that we drive the buyer checkout process through your storefront, where they can add additional items during the checkout process and pay for it together. You could lose out on some exposure for your store with buyers going through the eBay checkout.

2. When you list/relist these items from Vendio, we will automatically include a link to your storefront at that time. The only way to add it right now and not wait for them to relist would be using HTML code and revising these items manually from eBay to add it into the description field.

3. You can include a link to your storefront on your About Me page at eBay. For more information on eBay's links policy click here.

4. Unfortunately, no, we cannnot get away with that (or we'd do it!)

As for closed items appearing in the store, these will cycle out as the Sales Manager picks up their updated status.
Regards,
Christopher
