I would like to suggest the creation of a cross merchandising gallery of four to five items for item descriptions in the Vendio store.
I am a stamp dealer. I will soon be placing on sale items in new categories such as Album Pages for Christmas Seals and Topical Stamps, Booklets on Topical Stamps, Album Binders, Stamp Catalogs, etc.
I think it would be great if there was a tool available from Vendio with which I could create a gallery of these items into an item description, for both ebay and Vendio store.
For example, I have an item - "Christmas Seal Collection 1927-1965" wherein the gallery could possibly display for sale, the following: Christmas Seal Album pages, Green's Catalog of Domestic Christmas Seals, Green's Catalog of International Christmas Seals, Binder for the Album, and the Christmas Seals for sale combined with the Album pages.
Testing that I have done indicates that I can accomplish this task using a gallery from isdntek.com. The gallery works great in both my ebay auction, ebay store, and Vendio store listings. However this takes time to create especially for the Vendio store items. And, I would truy like to use a Vendio created item - as long as it wasn't smeared with Vendio branding. I would think that a gallery for use in the Vendio store would not require extensive, and excessive branding.
ebay item #300117089451 is an example.
This should be easy for the crack team that works at Vendio. I bet this could be done in short order. Such a gallery would enhance the value of any Vendio store.

This morning I realized that there is something similar at Vendio checkout. When listing with SMME, items are chosen in the "Promote More Items" from SMME, and are displayed in a vertical column at checkout which is titled "Other Great Items." Perhaps the "Promote More Items" could be modified to also display in a horizontal row within the Vendio store item description. There could be a box which could be checked to activate the display within the item description.
I have to admit, that I like the look of the isdntek.com tool.

Thanks Nathan. It shouldn't be too hard to evaluate this one. Cross merchandising = more sales + store enhancement = increased value for all concerned.
Store owner would have increased sales, while Vendio enhances its product which would help the image of the Vendio store.
In the meantime, I'll have to struggle with the other product.
