I started a thread in June asking about the new store features. What they were going to be and when would they be rolled out.

The question was answered promptly with the promise that there would be several improvements and that an eta would be issued shortly. Well I waited a full two months before bumping the thread and asking again about a time frame, distintively pointing out that we were told late June that there would be an answer.

That was August 28th, I never got a respond and I see it was professionally handled by just deleting it. Nice.

Hello,

Sorry for the confusion. We couldn't locate the complete thread, as it may have been cleared in error during a prune session for the message center.

I did however locate Nate's original response to your question about when the new store's might be available for current users:

"I do not have a specific eta at this time. We are currently integrating the Andale and Vendio features slowly over time. No-one will lose features, but will gain features. We are doing this slowly to minimize any negative effects that might occur with a rapid integration of features."

While we can't promise an ETA, as soon as one does become available, we'll let you know.

Regards,
Christopher

Well the other part of the thread contain another response from a CS rep after Nate's response with the promise I outlined above. Funny that is the part you lost!

Doesn't matter this is just ridiculous. Vendio has promised for well over a year now that there would be changes. All this waiting combine with the fact that new customers, but not your loyal long term customers, can use the new platform is just to much. I'm done waiting, I'll be closing my store.

Hello again,

The thread your quoting is as follows:

"We are to, we think your going to love the new storefront options once available. We'll post an ETA as soon as possible, which hopefully won't be too far out.
Ive seen a few demo's on the new stores and we think they will address a lot of the customizing needs many have been requesting along the way."

This was in response to your post stating:
"Thanks! I'm looking forward to the
changes."

New customers are technically signing up for the old Andale platform, so while they will get the new store system now, they won't have any of the Vendio Merchandising or Inventory Edition's of the Sales Manager tools available for listing or managing their items.

If you only use the storefront and don't need the Vendio Sales Manger tools to manage your eBay listings, you could simply open a new account rather than wait for the combined listing platform to become available.

Some of us in CS may have jumped the gun just a little in mentioning that it would happen in the near future, when we had/have yet to receive an official ETA from the engineering team. We try to avoid this as much as possible, while also being open about whats happening with upcoming projects.

Regards,
Christopher
