Is there any way to add variants for store items?
For instance, if I'm selling t-shirts, do I have to make a separate item for each size and color, or is there a way to add a drop-down menu for the customer to choose a size and color?
I don't want to have to create hundreds more items than I need to.

That's good to hear! I do wish I knew when though, because I'm really hoping to get a store set up ASAP.
BISI and Auctiva Commerce both have the option for variants, but reading their forums and seeing all the problems people are having with the stores, I'd much rather set up shop here on Vendio. I absolutely love the Vendio templates and the control panel and ability to customize everything (without having to know html/CSS).
BUT, the variants are the one thing that's preventing me from setting up shop here. I really don't want to create 500 different items when I should only have to make 10 w/ variant options.
Thanks again for the response!
I really hope this feature is available soon!!!

Also, just a suggestion (for what it's worth) - BISI has the option for variants, but when you duplicate a product, it only copies the description and images, and not the variants. This was the reason I ended up at Auctiva Commerce. I want to copy items to save time, and when the variants don't copy, it *adds* time. So hopefully when you guys add the option for variants, it will be copied when you duplicate a product
