Is there a way to show the regular price with a slash thru it and the on-sale price next to it?
Thanks, Charlie

Hello Charlie,
Yes, you can. Click the little gear icon in the upper right corner of the ad-info section for this item, then enable the field labeled 'Sale Price & Dates' - while your item is available for purchase at the sale price it will show a slash through the regular price.
Regards,
Chris

Hi,
I have tried what you said but the item regular price doesn't show with the slash thru the regular price. The sale price is showing.
I have noticed that the start date for the sale shows as day/month/year instead of month/day/year. I did pick 'start today' from the calendar. Is the format causing the problem?

Hello Charlie,
I'm not sure why the old price is not showing with a slash through it for the items you have placed on sale. I have asked our engineers to take a look, and we will let you know as soon as we hear back from them.

Nathan

Thank you.
They can search on my products and use the key words of either 1979 or 1973 to find items that should be on sale.

Ok it works. The regular price is showing with a slash thru it and the sale price is showing.
BUT on the home page of my template there is a link "Show all items on sale". I think this link is only showing my featured items and not my sale items. Is there a way that I can fix this?

Hello,
While the text does say that it is to show all items on sale, the purpose actually is to show the featured items. You may change this text to whatever you would like by first going to "Stores" --> "Stores Editor" --> select "Advanced" and click the box for "Enable Advanced Mode" --> select "Edit HTML" and browse for the "featured.html" file to edit --> change the text where it says "Show All Items On Sale" to whatever you would like.

Nathan

Thanks,
Is there a way to show the items that are on sale instead of the featured items?

Hello,
Unfortunately, no. That link is designed to show the featured item (rather than the sale items).

I used the advanced editor and followed your instructions. I made the change to the text and saved it. I republished my store BUT the old wording still shows up.
I went back into the advanced editor to check to make sure the new wording was saved and it was.
Why doesn't it show on my store front?

Hello Charlie,
I have heard back from our engineers, and I apologize for the confusion on this. The correct location to make this change is under "Stores" --> "Stores Editor" --> select "Advanced" and click the box for "Enable Advanced Mode" --> select "Edit XML" and browse for the "xmls/editor.xml" file --> locate the <FeaturedShowAll>Show All Items On Sale</FeaturedShowAll> line and change the text there, then press "Save".
Please note that I have made this change for you, so you should be all set. Please let us know should you need further assistance.
Regards,
Nathan
