I am using vendio store on my home page, and would like to add a slide show or flash to the center section. Is this possible to do.
I have gone into the edit options for the object, but the only thing I can do there is to add an image (kind of boring). Can I do this by editing the home page code and if so could someone tell me where to add my embedded code?
The default home page for the storefront provides a field to enter a welcome message, though you can disable this by editing the content and adding other content to the homepage instead. Ive typically used this welcome message field, which is just looking for text, to enter the HTML/Javascript needed to display that type of content on the homepage.
You could remove the featured items widget and then use the 'text label' section in the center to enter your code as needed. The built in HTML editor just has your basic coding options, but you can certainly add more complex code than what we provide to get the display you want. Just be sure to uncheck the HTML editor box in the upper right corner before pasting in your own custom code.
