I want to change my domain address to a subdomain address. How do I do that?

Hello,

Did you use the install option to use your own domain with the Store? If not, please let us know. If so, you would need to remove the files that are currently installed, and then reinstall the Store (this time installing it to the sub directory where you would like the Store to appear).

Regards,
Nathan

so if I used the installer, all I need to do is delete everything in the root directory and download the installer to the new directory of the subdomain?

I have successfully changed the address. However in the vendio control panel where it shows my url, it is still showing my old url.

Also at the new address, the website doesn't load properly and when I click the links, it says internal server error. any idea what went wrong?

Hello,

What is the URL (including the sub directory) that you are using?

Nathan

Hello,

Remember to check the permissions of the store directory as well. Setting it to 777 will sometimes cause issues on some servers, in which case try switching it to 755 and try it again.

Chris

Hello,

Please download the investigator file and add it to the same directory where you have installed the Store. You may download the investigator file here:

http://stores.beta.vendio.com/remote/download.html?script=investigator

Please let us know once this has been done.

Regards,
Nathan

Hello,

Our engineers took a look, and it seems that there is a problem with the apache server configuration. Please load this URL:

http://shop.absolutyogi.com/templatebase/fittoes/current/skins/red/style.css

Then check the error log to see what error is produced. Usually the error log should be in this location: /var/log/httpd/error_log

Please email us the contents of the error log (rather than posting them here).

Regards,
Nathan
