When I add an item to my cart, it shows up correctly. If I add another item to the cart, the first one disappears. Additionally, if I click the "Shopping Cart" section of my store, the entire cart empties out. Did I do something wrong?

I just tried this on a different computer using IE6 and Firefox on WinXP, and it worked. Originally, I was trying it at home on Win7 and IE8. I know I don't have cookies disabled, so could it be something else?
Do you have a URL redirect setup for your storefront? Where you just mask the address in the browser so it shows a different address than your regular Vendio one?
I have seen the shopping cart show this exact behavior with 'Frame Redirect' being used to change the address. If so, please let us know as there are other methods to point your store to a domain name that aren't effected by this.

I have no idea, I purchased the domain name through Vendio, so it's set to do whatever the default would be in that case. And as mentioned, the case seems to be isolated to my home computer, which is using Windows 7 and IE8. I don't know if either of those really make a difference, but I guess it's not very important since it is working on other machines. Just makes it hard to test things at home.
Don't worry about the redirect setup stuff mentioned above then, your store is being pointed properly without any frame tag setups.
I also run Internet Explorer and Windows 7 but I wasn't able to replicate the issue as you describe. Try simply purging IE's temporary internet files and restarting it to see if that helps. Under the 'tools' menu there is also a link labeled 'compatibility mode' - see if this changes the behavior at all and let us know the results of your efforts.
