Over the past few days I successfully bought a domain name (through GoDaddy) and installed Vendio on a dedicated server our organization has with E7.

One message I received before the install was "Warning: your domain does not appear to accept secure connections. Your Store may still be fully functional, but some users may experience security warnings when browsing your store." How can I fix this?

My next question: is the index file the only file I can access & edit via the CPanel on my server? I was under the impression by installing I'd have access & be able to edit every page in my CPanel as opposed to visiting the Vendio site to do my edits.

Is there any way to accomplish what I want/need?

Hello,

Using the installer.php file is just a way to point the store data to your own domain name, so everything appears to run off of it directly. In reality it's all ran off the Vendio back end and you will not be able to edit the content from your domain name Cpanel.
All stores must be edited from within the Template Editor in your account.

Regards,
Chris
