I had this problem before, and can't seem to find the original topic on it. But once again, my variations have disappeared from my items.

If I recall correctly, this required some kind of manual patch to be done. Is this something applied to the editor, or is it something that I have access to that I could fix myself. I'd much rather prefer to fix it myself in the future if that's possible (and not excessively complicated). It seemed to recur after I loaded up an older template, which leads me to believe it's something I can access. I hadn't made any template changes since the patch was applied the first time I had this problem, so naturally, it never got saved anywhere.
I'm also working on totally changing the layout of my store, so if this patch is applied before I upload the new template (very likely), I'm going to loose the patch. That's another reason I'd like to know how I can do it myself, if possible.

Hello,
It is unfortunately not possible for you to make this change yourself. It will need to be made by our engineers. If you select an older version of the template from before the engineers corrected the problem, then the problem will reappear.
Please let us know once your current template is in a state where you will not be reverting to an older version, and we will ask the engineers to apply the patch at that time. If you want to work on the template outside of the Template Editor after the fix has been applied, you would need to download the current copy of the template (that would have the fix) and use that version when making changes.

I'm only working on new graphics, so it should be fine to apply the patch. I'll re-download the template and move my graphics to that when I have them done.

Hello,
I have asked our engineers to correct the problem, and we will let you know once it is done. Please be sure not to revert to an older version of the template once the problem has been corrected.
I wanted to let you know that we have heard back from the engineers and this problem should now be corrected. However, please let us know should you continue to have trouble with this.
