I generated a site map and uploaded it to my template editor. However, I cannot see it when I navigate to http://www.amazingspiralcomics.com/sitemap.xml.

I do see that you have successfully uploaded the sitemap.xml file to the correct location. In order to have it appear at the address you specified you would need to use your own HTML code. The specifics for how to do this are unfortunately beyond the scope of what we would be able to help you with here.
