Hello. I have tried to change a few pictures without success. The pictures are in the 700 PX by 700 PX range and a JPG format. I have two items that would not update last week and I tried again today and get this message

There was an error when validating the item. Please try again.

I was able to update a different item today but the two I was having problems with last week are still not updating.

Should I just cancel those listings and start a new one for these items?

Hello,

Do you mean you are trying to change the image within the Vendio inventory item for an item that is in your Vendio Store? If not, please let us know. If so, please let us know one of the specific inventory items where you are having this problem, and the specific image change that you are trying to make, so that we can attempt to duplicate the problem in your account.

Thanks Nathan yes I want to swap out some pictures of items in my store.

I have been having this problem for about 6 weeks. Here is the one I tried today

SKU 1278515506562 and I want to use picure nowisthetime.jpg located in My Images/Inspirational

I actually got a few to go today, but the one above did not take.

Hello Thomas,

The system is glitching because of the filenames of the images already attached Vs the one you want to attach now.

This is the filename of your new image:
NowistheTimeCDClock.JPG

This is the filename of the 'old' image:
NowisthetimeCDClock.jpg

As you can see the only difference in them is the capitalization, so the system errors with the message about trying to attach two images with the same filename.

What I did was re-upload the 'old' image as NowisthetimeCDClockwithtext.jpg - so that it would be unique from the new image.

Next I removed the original picture and then swapped in the new/old one - along with your new/new one and saved it without any errors.

Im not sure if this duplicate filename issue would have been the same cause for the other ones you ran into, so please let us know if you run into any others so we can help you troubleshoot further.
