I'm looking for dolls made of Florida sea shells made in Florida. Currently, they are being made in the Phillipines. I don't think they have made them in Florida since the seventies. I have one that my parents bought me as a souvenir. At one time they were made by women to supplement the family income and sold ont he roadside.

Very similiar but the painting on the one I have is much finer. Mine is about 4 1/2 inches tall and is a bride or bridesmaide. I have seen them as large as 12 inches. How big are these? Can you tell me a little bit about them? Since I decided to collect shell dolls, I have only found two others and now have seen yours. None has been like mine. Are yours for sale?
