I have inherited a beautiful set of crystal stemware and I'm not sure how old it is or where it is from. It is a set 4 different style glasses, 6 each, totalling 24 pieces. The tops are lined with about a 1/4" of gold and there is a grapeleaf designed etched on all of the glasses. The only clue that I have is from one of the particular styles and that is the name "vetravir" is marked on the bottom. I am not looking to sell these, but I do want to know more about them. I have tried asking around at local antique stores and emailing antique stores on line and no one seems to know where they are from. If anyone has any information, please let me know so that I can ease my mind. Thanks ahead!

This is my friends web site on eBAY. He buys and sells this type of stuff. He sells books that tell you there value, etc. Don't know if he will answer, but it is worth the try. Please do not mention me,just to keep things in order. [email protected] Good luck

I have a set of Vetravir glasses which I purchased antiquing. The ones that I have have no etchings, but the name "Vetravir" is printed on the bottom of each glass with a cover-like symbol enclosing the letter "R". The word Italy also appears making me think that they were made there. I am looking for additional glasses to complete my set.
