i have win 98 and want start selling online. my problem is i'm not sure what is the right digital camera to use for my pc. what is the best price out there and also what digital camera will give the best picture? have been looking on many auction sites and still undecided. please help..thanks
This is the thread that convinced me to buy a Fuji. I went with the 1300 FinePix. Got a great deal, too ($250 including the flashpath adapter).
My advice would be to get the best camera that you can afford. (I would have loved to get a Mavica, but this was half the price & does an outstanding job!)

I also am new to digital cameras. I was told that I needed a macro feature as I plan to sell fossils and need extremely good detail. I purchased a Cannon Power Shot S100 for about $700 and it does great detail. Perhaps soon I shall have some images in an auction

I perfer the Sony Movacia Camera. The price on the 75 has come down about $100 to I think $399 or $499 You can pick one up on Ebay for about $200 to $300.

I have a camera that I received free for signing up with Earthlink as my internet service provider for a 3 month committment. The service is good and the camera is decent. The camera suits its purpose so I'd recommend it to anyone that can't afford one for now. I didn't have a couple hundred bucks to throw out there, so it works for me until I can buy a nice one )

I use a Sony Mavica and it has been well worth the cost. It's so much simpler because it uses computer disks and not a memory stick. It takes great close ups, great distant shots and stops action. The battery takes a charge of about 140 minutes so all you have to do is carry a few extra disks while on vacation. Only takes about an hour or two to recharge the battery. Great camera, I've had it two years and swear by it. Good luck in your search for a good one, it makes selling a lot easier.
