posted on March 20, 2001 10:45:17 PM newdad0519, do you attend auctions in your area? Where I live - in the Midwest - we have 3 to 4 auctions every weekend where they sell canning and jelly jars by the case.
Not every auction has jars, but the majority do. I usually can pick up a case of 12 jelly jars for $1 to $3.
Just an idea if you have never gone to an (estate) auction, it may be worth your while.
Another source for candle jars would be to save your old salsa type jars that are short and stubby.

Here in the South you can get a dozen for about $7 at any grocery store. Garage sales and estate auctions should also have them - certainly wouldn't want to pay shipping on them, for they're heavy.
