I need to know where I can find quality fragrance oils that smell like what they're supposed to......ie: orange, vanilla, etc.

kraftdinner - You mean like what they put in the scented candles? (I love those things, but finding one that *really* smells like it's supposed to is few and far between)
edited to say that one time I bought a candle that was supposed to smell like roses..... but it smelled like poopyheads!!!

kraftdinner,
I can't help you with the fragrance oils, but Mrs. Pat is partial to Yankee candles. They do smell like whatever the label says they're supposed to smell like.
I think you can get them at Hallmark stores, and there are some available on eBay as well.

Mrs. Pat has great taste pattaylor!!! Those candles smell the best and most realistic. Now if I could just find the fragrance oil that smells the same, I'd be laughing.

You can find wonderful candles that smell exactly what they are supposed to smell like at Flickering Light Candles in Blythewood, SC. Carol and her Mom have created wonderful scents that I have been buying for years. They are more intense, realistic scents and cheaper than those other candles. Don't know if they will share their source but they will sell the candles. Tell em Pat Lordy from Sumter sent you. We have a 100 year old house wiht high ceilings and theirs are the only scents that don't get lost here. Their website is www.flicklight.com and they are wonderful women to deal with.

Hi! I am not exactly sure what you are looking for as far as oils go. I am an Avon Representative and have Skin So Soft Bath Oil available. This can be used in your bath water as well as outdoors--as a mosquito repellant. It works well and moisturizes the skin. Kristan

Try Sweetcakes, they are fragrance oil manufacturers. You can ( and we have) use(d) them in Potpourri, wax candles, gel candles, lotion, light rings, scent pots, bath oil, shampoo, and directly on the skin as perfume. We make all of our products using sweetcakes, they are strong enough for everything. It's almost universal and the scents are great. They have perfume copies(new Victorias Secret scents too), fruit, single scents, "edible" scents , also neat stuff like lemon meringue, fresh grass and new mown hay( smells simple and fresh). It's www.sweetcakes.com. Let me know what you think!!! Casey
