I'm trying to find affordable glass insulators- those things you see on the tops of telephone poles. Many of the ones I see on ebay are worthless, have poor photos or are way above my budget. Can anyone help me?
I prefer colorful ones like blue, green, purple, amber, yellow. But any colorless= crystal clear ones with the name McLaughlin or W.F.G. on them I'm looking for as well.
Thanks in advance! Any photos will be most helpful too!

I have several of these in good, clean condition. Mostly aqua and most are Hemingrays. Most were removed from poles in NW Arkansas over 20 years ago. I sell them locally for $1.50 each. I imagine shipping would be the problem.

What kinds of markings are on the Hemingrays you have for sale? I am interested in some aquas, especially if they say HGCO or Petticoat on them. Send me an email with more info or pictures to:

I have an insulator that weighs about 18 lbs. It is half glass, and half concrete. It kinds looks like a bell. The top and bottom are concrete, and the middle a beautiful dark blue glass. Numbers and letters on it:
TURY
84-04-010
LOCKE
20000TEST
40000M&E
18-8
USA
7
Interested?? Or know someone who is?? Dan
