I need a motherboard for my Compaq Presario 1235 laptop. The existing motherboard was broken and I need to replace it. Everyone is telling me to simply sell it and buy newer. If I had the money to buy a $1500 laptop, I would. But, I don't. I need to repair the one I have. I have the means to repair the unit once I get parts. I respect opinions not to repair it, but I need to do what I need to do. If anyone has parts, please let me know. Thanks..

I don't know if you still need the mother board for your laptop, but I have a practically brand new Presario 1235 that I've only used to play games on that I am in desperate needs of selling. I'll give you the whole thing really cheap and you can do whatever you want to with it. Just write me back so I know. Thanks. Bye.

No, I don't need any of it. I just don't want to sell a part here and a part there. I'd rather sell it as a whole I've had it for about a year and have only used it to play solitaire. I don't want much for it. Decide what you want to do and let me know. All it's really doing is collecting dust over here. Thanks. Bye.

I'll send anybody $25 bucks that can make me a copy of the restore disk. I have a 1235 and need to reinstall. [email protected]

I still have my Compaq Presario 1235 just lying on my desk collecting dust in case any one was still interested.

OK, I am going to ask my computer guy if that Motherboard is compatible. How much are you asking for it? What condition is it in?

Like I've said before, my presario is in practically mint condition. All I've ever used it for is to play the games when I was bored a few times and I signed on to check its LAN configuration once. It's about 10 months old, but looks like it was just bought. I can prove this to you somehow if you'd like. Since it's practically brand new, I would probably not accept anything less than $500 for the whole thing. I really don't want to just strip it apart and sell it for parts. If you'd like to do that, by all means, knock yourself out. Just let me know what you'd like to do.
