I am looking for a very old book of fairy tales. I remember it being an English (British) book and probably dated around the 1930's or earlier. It had an illustration at the front and one at the back of a cartoonish "town crier" with a scroll with something written on it. I think the end illustration was telling children to go to bed?
I remember a couple of the stories were one about the old woman with the bones in her cupboard and one about a girl running windershins (sp?) around a house. I think there was also a story of a girl killed by her mother and served to her family in soup.
I would really like to find this book and would appreciate any help anyone could give.

If you knew the title and author it would be rather simple to search for it. If you don't i guess all you're left with is to go to ebay and start looking under BOOKS-CHILDRENS-FAIRY TALES..Hope you have a little time to kill.
