I know someone who got a great deal on a transfer machine by going to the local yellow pages, and calling small "t-shirt" printing companies.....you know, those little shops that pop up in strip malls...this guy would call and say, "Hello, I heard you have a used transfer press machine for sale".....on about the third call the owner said, "Oh yes, we do..." and the guy got a seriously top line pro model for $300.00 and the best part was he was able to drive over, test it out, and avoid shipping costs!
