Since this is now a PAY service, why do we have to put with these annoying "Casino-on-Net" pop-ups everytime we access the site. This plus your continuing inability to add eBayMotors to your auction list is going to drive me right outta here (no pun intended --this isn't funny).

Since you feel the need to place your spam ads everytime we open up your site, why can't you just make a banner ad, instead of an oversize screen that needs to be manually closed? Between you and Yahoo, it is extremely annoying.

I agree, these adds are pathetic and unattractive. No need for them, and you probably are losing sales because of it, AW.
Diana, can you also look into adding BidBay.Com too ?

If we must put up with pop-up ads, how about at least something that is not illegal in the United States....I know, how about cigarettes or hard liquor. Anything for a buck

Add me to the list.
I don't and won't gamble, least of all on the net.
If I wish to gamble, then I'll go to Reno and have some fun.

The popups tick me off it seems to me that every time I open up a any web page there they are and I know some sites that does help to off set COB = Cost of Business. I have seen a program at ZD net that will stop those pesky popups

I have been yelling about the pop-ups and unders for months and nobody cares. The new one really plays with my computer. But I found a new site without them.

AW announces:
"Pop Under Ads Discontinued after March 15"
Thank you! It's certainly refreshing to find a site that listens to its members... if eBay was a tenth as responsive, online auctioning would be considerably less of a hassle.

I'm reliefed to see we will finally be rid of
these things. But I would also like to see AW
only use ads that pertain to what we are doing, Selling! Ads for auction sites, selling tools, payment methods, etc.
I especially dont like Casino ads. Our Govt is spending our tax dollars on Ads warning people that Internet gambling is a rip off and here is AW bombarding us w/these ads at every turn. Also as a member of the law enforcement community, I have seen so many people lose their jobs, homes, and spouses and end up in jail because of Internet gambling. These people have included Teachers, firemen, police officers and just plain decent citizens. Yes AW get rid of the annoying Popups, but also stop using Casino ads. We are here to buy & sell, not gamble.

well, here it is the 19th, four days after the 15th when aw told us there would be no more pop ups, and they are still here. not as often, but once again, i have been lied to by the people who offer every excuse, but never offer a refund. probably engineering has a handle on it working round the clock. right!!!!
