The AW phrase 'Sorry for ANY inconvenience' drives me up a tree! 'Any' makes it sound as if there may not have been any! How about 'EVERY INCONVENIENCE'? 'ALL THE AWFUL INCONVENIENCE'?

Sorry about "every inconvenience." We just
completed a significant transition. Murphy
joined the project, uninvited, of course, seriously messing up our schedule.

you can say best of luck with our auctions, but how can we list an auction when you guys are down all day? we need some sort of compensation for our losses. one day of free listings is certainly not going to hurt your business. how about it?

I was a little frustrated that day also.
However, on AW's behalf, I've been using them for over two years now and they have by far, given me better service at a better value than any other internet service I have ever used. I can think of only twice over that two years where outages on their servers have inconvenienced me. One strike per year makes for a pretty good batting average I think. I certainly have paid a lot more for services that didn't come close to matching AW's.
