In the User Agreement, you state that "You may close your account by removing your credit card information from our files or disabling your credit card."

I emailed two request to close my account in January for the "contact us" on the AW web pages. No response.

I have not used AW services since Jan. 31. I owed about $10.00 in fees. I knew my card would be billed for those fees in Feb, so delayed in removing credit card info.

I find today that I have new charges, "balance from last statement", about $23.00.

I now find there is no where on your site to remove credit card info or to disable credit card.

This is amazing....so easy to sign up, but can never close account.

Please respond with advice.

Thank you

I'm experiencing similar problems. I had not used Auction Watch since well prior to their change to charged services. All of my use was free. I did not have a credit card on file with the service. In December of 2001, I received an e-mail stating they were deleting info on accounts without a credit card on file. Since I was not using their services, I pretty much ignored it and didn't read the entire letter.
This year, I had decided to open a small business and utilize auctions a sales channel. Assured my old auction watch account was closed, I recently set up a new account and registered/purchased a premium selling plan with the company credit card. When it came time to input my venue info, it gave me an error saying something like; "someone with auction watch already has that ebay id". Shocked and knowing I still have my ebay account as it always has been, I checked the letter I received from auction watch. To my dismay it said at the very bottom of the letter that they were only deleting images and such, but leaving the account open. OUCH!
So I looked and looked for options to close the new account, wrote them, told them the particulars and asked them to close the old account. No response. Desperate, I researched further for a way to close either account finding the only mentioned/listed way to close account, in the user agreement. It said you can your close account by removing credit card info from personal data. Like an idiot, I registered my personal credit card info on the old account, in effort to use the aforementioned remove option as stated in the User Agreement. No such option appeared in the edit credit card section, or anywhere else.
HELP PLEASE! I only want to use the service legitimately. I don't want to be doubled billed or kicked off the service.
