I just looked back at an auction that in my first round to use the new prominent checkout button and it took out the description! Please see 2612609079.
this is no good. if there is a dispute on the description, I have nothing to back me up.
I have looked at my other closed auctions that used this checkout button option and they are all like this.
the description isn't exactly erased the yellow checkout notice is planted on top of it with no way to move it off. so for all intents and purposes, the description or most of it is gone for future viewing.

There are two different options on how to display the checkout banner. One is the one you have already discovered, that you don't like. The other option is to have it come out as a sliding panel. You should try that one, if you don't like the other one, or you can leave it how you have it now which is to not display the yellow box yet have the checkout button in your listings.
