Lately my auctions have been showing up with the &Acirc (&#194) character (the letter "A" with a carat above it) randomly placed in my eBay auctions. When I preview them on my machine, they are fine (no unnecessary characters). When I view them on eBay, they're inserted. It is annoying and makes the auction look unprofessional. Since it previews fine on my machine and I don't insert the characters myself, the only thing I can think of that would affect the auctions would be when Auctionwatch posts them to eBay's site. Has anyone else experienced this? Here's a link to an auction for an example of what I have described:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2023513693&r=0&t=0&showTutorial=0&ed=1021912205&indexURL=0&rd=1

The capital "A" with a carat above it not only shows up around pictures, but also within the text!

Any input would be appreciated.

Tom

Hi Tom,

Do you create your description in an editor, such as Front Page?

Hi Sonya,

No, I do not use FrontPage or any other type of html editor, aside from AuctionWatch templates.
