First, let me say thanks to Sonya and Radu and Marius and Chris for their help and attempts to help. But I very much want to go back to my “real” ISP and quit my free trial of Customer Manager. How do I do that?
Incidentally, I would like to keep the mailstep function, if that’s possible. (And how do I exit Customer Manager and still do that?)
I had hoped that Customer Manager would deliver on its promise to simplify things. But it makes things w-a-y-y more difficult than they oughta be, and the email program is really cumbersome. One of the earlier posters here, Cherrytreegirls, had it exactly right when she talked about the confusion in finding and filing messages. Not to mention that you can’t delete things without jumping through hoops.
As for the “response” functionality, I have long had a boilerplate file with standard responses that I just cut and paste. And both of my other email programs, Eudora with Mindspring, and AOL (which I keep as a pet), give me room on the screen to see what I am doing. A screenful of logos and tabs that buries my actual message and reply somewhere way down there is really not convenient.
The fact that everything also requires a web request and return also makes handling the email deadly slow. I have broadband satellite, but it still is less than satisfactory. Most of all, though, it is a lack of any sort of proper documentation that bothers me.
That is true all through Vendio, but I have been using Sales Manager Pro and Sales Manager for years, so I know what I’m doing. And both are fairly intuitive, unlike Customer Manager, which is much too complex. Anyway, I thought you might want to know why I want out of CM.

Hi Marshall,
Thank you for your feedback. To discontinue Customer Manager:
If you have changed your email address on eBay and/or PayPal to your vendio.com email address, change the email address on file at eBay/PayPal to whichever address you prefer.
After your trial expires, you will no longer be enrolled for Customer Manager unless you sign up again.
