I am having a major problem and I am still new, and the "only" answer tech support has seemed to have so far does not fix my problem. Was wondering if anyone else had had this one and could help. My invoices (all of them, the tech guy didn't bother to listen to that either, he just went in my account and insisted it isnt all of them screwed up, which it is....) are screwed up so that when I print it or view it in post-sale, the total shows a credit to the customer for the shipping charge (because vendio isnt adding that charge, though it is on the ads). I am beyond frustrated, someone please help (or at least try to tell me how you have dealt with tech support by email, if they have been helpful to you, etc...) please someone help....I will be most grateful if anyone can....
Can you tell us which item numbers you'd like us to look at? I checked item #4200688566 and saw there was a balance due. I unchecked step two, went in and saved changes, and that corrected the problem. Are your customers filling out the WBN or are you filling it out for them? It looks like the payments are being made directly to PayPal, please correct me if I am wrong.

I would like you to look at it all and explain the problem, look at what you need to. Thats my answer, but I have also the following which I intend to both ask you and post here, because I do not feel that I am "confused", I feel I am not getting straight answers ...
Some people DO pay direct with paypal I think..is this the problem? And if so I am not sure how to fix it....I see an invoice that worked (or that may be the one you fixed) tonight...all I know is it never seems to work, and every invoice/shipping label I have ever printed has the wrong totals...I wish I could help you more, if I could I probably would be able to solve the problem on my own. I don't ever use tech support until I am completely befuddled. I am not sure what you even mean by changing the info in step 2...I have never done that, but if I have to do that all, that seems like more to do than if I did not have VENDIO...I thought the POINT was this makes my life easier...if it does not (which it has not yet), then I have made a mistake getting it...I am still hoping that's not the case, but this is your service. If you can look at my account, you should be able to see all I can. So they may pay direct through paypal...is that unworkable on your system? I have done the IPN stuff...it may even work now but I am not sure, and sales have slowed so much because of this all that 1 - I am very frustrated, which leads to 2 - sales have been slower because I am spending more time trying to fix this thing. That is my information, I don't know what else to explain. This is not my software, I did not design it, and it is me who pays about 80 dollars this month alone. Rest assured I believe that that kind of money alone entitles me to exceeding customer service, and if it does not, I will keep this for a month and cut my losses, after writing an article for a magazine on the matter. I truly hope that does not have to happen, but I have given you people all the information I know. I apologize for the direction of my frustration, but I have no where else to direct it, and I think this is a good place for everyone to see how I feel at the moment. So please help me out. Thanks, that's all I want is for it to work. I assume it works for all these other people who are paying for it, or they would not. You asked for information, but the request does not seem to help.

Oh and one more thing Sonya..all I can tell you about my customers is they are getting p****d off...and that is making me the same way. I do not make it a habit of asking them all. I still am trying to understand now how this is supposed to make life easier.......that was the supposed point of having this....and I thought for the money it must be a good service...so prove it to me.
I have been reviewing your Vendio settings for PayPal and shipping and everything looks to be set up properly. You said that you are set up with the IPN so if people pay directly through PayPal (which does happen occasionally, yes) then it will automatically record in your post sale for that item.
In your PayPal account, did you set up any shipping settings? It appears you might have something set up either in your eBay or PayPal account that is adding shipping on top of what you've got set up in the listing you create in Vendio. In Shipping Calculations in PayPal, did you add shipping? Please make sure you do not have anything set up in PayPal to add shipping in PayPal to items when a customer is paying through PayPal.

Ok, I looked in paypal, and though I did not find anything wrong that you asked me to (but please tell me where to look next time, it makes me very interested though to know I can do half the things I pay so much here to do with paypal...I have made a mental note. Anyway, the one thing that may have messed me up is my ebay password was not set in paypal. Nothing else you told me to look for was wrong, not only are there no shipping charges being added at paypal, but the checkbox for "Click here to allow transaction-based shipping values to override the profile shipping settings listed above (if profile settings are enabled)." is checked...per one of my previous (circa 2 weeks ago) requests about this very annoying, gnawing, biting, upsetting me and my customers, problem. As I told the last tech person, I am a great writer, and I will just leave that at that. So please keep looking! Or maybe the password thing solved my problem? I do appreciate your help, Sonya, please do not get me wrong, it is just that I find the lack of a plan for such newbies as myself to get this EXPENSIVE (almost unjustifiably to me, at this point) system actually working to be .... well lacking, they lack any decent training for how to use what we are paying so much for. Again I apologize but I have to vent some at this point (it has been over 2 weeks after all)...it is not directed to you but since I know no other way of talking to a human being there (gee I wonder why at this point), I have no other choice but to hope maybe someone there will see ... but of course my instincts tell me those who employ you know these things already, I am hoping that that is why they hired such a patient tech as yourself to assist me.... anyway as I said, no payment settings that I could see and I Know all I EVER did in that screen on paypal was go check the box I mentioned above that one of your other tech people told me to.......but then there is the whole I had to change my ebay password in paypal so it could get the settings..will that fix it? I don't know; and while I would like to hope so as much as you, I am not taking it for granted until I see it work for at least a week 100 percent of the time with this service at this point...again thanks for your help Sonya and putting up with my slightly irate (at VENDIO, not you) personality in these things...I hope you have a great Easter and thanks again...I guess I just want to know if we have found anything out by now, or gotten back to good old square one...
Thank you for your response, I will continue to work with you and monitor your payments from customers to ensure that this is working properly for you. It does sound like the password issue was the culprit, but please let me know the next time you have a sale completed that was paid for via PayPal so we can see how our system records it. I checked your account and haven't seen anything new recently so we will have to see how the password change affects your PayPal payments. We know it's frustrating when you are new, and we always strive to resolve issues that our customers are having.
