I am with Yahoo for the reason that it WAS free. I'm selling US coins so even if I don't sell them I'm not in the red. I REALLY feel bad for everyone, Yahoo WAS a great place to do business. I love the layout, simplicity of use. I will let my auctions to die slowly. I spent too many hours setting them up, scanning and submitting. Right now I have 170 ( 2 or more scans for each)[ID tom19050 ] auctions, some of them resubmitted for 6 months+. . If they are going to charge fees this is the system I can live with. ONE insertion fee, regulated bysell or reserve prce. NO FVF or resubmittion fee.
Insertion fees
under $10 - free
$10-$25 - 5 cents
$25- $100 - 10 cents
$100 - $500 - 50 cents
$500 - $1000 - dollar
$1000 - 0.5% of the price
something like that I could live with. Otherwise hello lycos

Even though I don't like it, I can understand that Yahoo needs to charge fees. But they need to make them reasonable. We all know that sometimes it takes many relists to sell some items. I would pay a monthly amount say $40 like Amazon for 1000 auctions. Or perhaps a small one time listing fee that covers the item until it sells. Or even a reasonable FVF. I can't understand why Yahoo didn't come up with something that more of us could abide with. It seems like they want to get rid of auctions. I will miss Yahoo.

Much Worse! LOL Ever since they jumbled the listings and made it almost impossible to find the auctions. Listings are .10 a listing. But you can list up to 14 days and you get a relist for free if it doesn't sell. I would pay that at Yahoo. I think the merchants account is $40 a month for 5000 listings at Amazon.

if yahoo were a higher quality (no duplicate pics, and stop stealing my descriptions), i would be willing to pay a final fee provided it is returned if i dont get paid for the item.
