Some Auction sites ARE aware of the upset with Yahoo, and I've been receiving letters from some of the more aggressive/progressive sites seeking our listings.
Has anyone else gotten invitation letters from alternate auctions sites seeking your business?
So for I have heard from AuctionAddict and BidBay. (I had tested these sites in the past, and at least, they had the sense to realize there were a lot of unhappy people because of the Yahoo decision, and obviously wrote to everyone originally registered with them). At least these 2 know what is happening -
HAVE YOU HEARD FROM ANY OTHER SITE?

I am trying beckett also
The Beckett name will help promote my sells.
Since I am only a small online biz seller, I really cannot afford the fees at feebay and yahoo.
I also got an email from http://auctions.hobbyrat.com
I have not went over these sites with a fine tooth comb, so if anyone has experience with them let us know..
THANKS, Rose

Nope no invitations here from other sites yet the options arent looking to promiseing.
Tryed to launch some auctions on lycos with out to much luck last night also tried to get in to check out bidbay last night as well and couldnt get in there at all there sight was down.
Dutchbid has few items right now but there fee listings and free auction channel which is like you own personal auction catagory looks promiseing to if they can drum up the trafic to make it go.
Auxpal looks promiseing but they need to fix there front page that still states its an auction site for paypal users since it is no longer just for paypal users.

On the beckett.com - I just went over to take a look and threw Native American in the search engine for auctions, collector to collector, etc. Seemed to keep coming up with baseball cards.....
Is beckett's strictly a kind of sports memorabilia type of site? Maybe I was doing something wrong. I'm quite good at that, you know.

I believe you can go to the buyandsellit.com section at beckett and find more listing...but like I said, I am trying this site out for the first time myself :0

Don't feel bad Molly.
When we were kids and played doctor the other kids made me be the receptionist.
I was homely and couldn't spell either.
