Now that Yahoo has imploded, where to go and what to look for?

As a seller I don't really want a free site. Nothing's for free in this world. I'd rather pay a fair amount to get sales. And it takes money to make money.

I want a site that's dedicated to bringing in customers and marketing our products.

I want more support than Yahoo offered yet less NAZI like governing of ebay.

I want a payment service like Amazon's One Click.

I don't want a thousand sub-categories.

I want the site to check in and perhaps even consult occasionally with the sellers and bidders.

I want a proper feedback system. Simple and easy. A positive for each sale and negatives to have to go through the site before being listed either way.

And I want it to be fun again. I think there's more money in fun than what's been happening to the auction world.

We have to build a happy customer base somewhere.

Good sellers + happy customers = $$$$

Is this just a dream or could a site get its act together and make this happen??

go check out BIDBAY.

http://www2.bidbay.com/

Their auction site is a combination of yahoo and ebay functions rolled into one. It is all FREE as of present...even the BOLD LISTINGS, FEATURED LISTINGS, AND A BANNER UNDER THE TITLE!! It also has a BUY NOW feature. You can auto re-list as many times as you want.

I like what I see. There also seems to be buyers and they are being aggressive to attracting more buyers to the site.

The only negative I see is a post management feature. There isn't one and I don't know of a management site that supports their auction. If you know of one...please let me know!!

I want a site:

1) with BIDDERS
2) with good CATEGORY STRUCTURE
3) with nominal fees or TOTALLY FREE
4) with its own PHOTO HOSTING
5) with free GALLERY VIEWING
6) with AUTO-RELISTING
7) with choice of #DAYS and ENDING TIME
8) with ability to SORT LISTINGS

Yahoo USED TO have all but #1 and #2. Now they don't have #3, either.

I'm still searching the web, but I haven't found a site that meets all my criteria yet. Any suggestions?

Just give me a big audience and no fee, and I can live without the rest.
