You're right. Currently 26-11/64, down 2-21/64 on the day.
Oops! There goes another $1.30 billion in market capitalization.
Wonder if Koogle's working on his resume today?

dimview: I was just getting ready to ask you for the current stock report. (Had to do some grocery shopping this morning! Kids were tired of cold cereal three times a day.) So that's how it goes? If I buy all the stock when it's $5. a share can I be the boss?

"If I buy all the stock when it's $5 a share can I be the boss?" - That'll entitle you to be boss, staff and cleanup crew...

Interestingly, YHOO is due out with an earnings announcement on January 10, the same day Yahoo!Auctions attempts to squeeze sellers for dimes.
Hey, Buddy, got a couple dimes?

Here are YAHOO's numbers for the day. Closed at 27-3/16, down 1-5/16. Market capitalization declined $732 million today, and has plunged $2.09 billion since the Yahoo!Chat's.
Also of note, this excerpt from an article at CNET:
"The company plans to start charging users for access to some of its Web sites. Last week, Yahoo said it will add fees when customers list items for sale on its online auction sites."

More charges?
My guess is that Paydirect will be among the next Yahoo service to begin charging a fee.
What I honestly don't understand is that there are SO many people who would gladly pay to get their site listed on Yahoo's directory. Yet their "express submission" is still limited to only certain categories, and the fee ($200) is a bit much for many sites.
Why not implement a graduated fee system for submissions to the directory? The more you pay, the quicker your site is reviewed.
