Either the people at Yahoo really talk like this or ...... I wrote a reply to their threatening email (to terminate my account) and asked for a specific reason as to which TOS I have violated. It's easy to say you have violated the TOS but here is the response. Thank you for your email.
Generally, auctions are cancelled if it comes to Yahoo!'s attention that
they violate our Terms of Service or Auction Guidelines. Any Yahoo!
Auction may be removed for violations of the Terms of Service and
Guidelines, which may include some of the following: advertisements; not
selling any item; spam; copyright infringement; adult materials posted
in the wrong category; selling tickets over face value; selling used
undergarments; cable descramblers; or selling guns, knives, etc. Please
note that this is not a comprehensive list of potential Yahoo! Auctions
violations.
You may wish to review the Terms of Service and Auction Guidelines. This
information can be found at:
I am still at a loss as I cannot figure out which TOS my user ID and account would fall under. Or the craft items I had listed at the prices I would have to charge to sell on Yahoo. Well that will go with a copy of the first two to Consumer Affairs.
