This is creepy! For several days now, I have been trying to delete a Yahoo auction and it goes away. But the next time I log in - THERE IT IS AGAIN!!
Have you had this trouble before?
Have a great day - dix

I've never had this problem. Does
it take you to a confirmation screen after you say you want to cancel it. There should be this second step when you confirm cancellation. If you are sure you are doing this, maybe post the auction number here and I'll take a look and see if I have any other ideas for you.

Thanks, but this is not in the active auctions. It is in MY AUCTION - Closed/Sold.
I have always been able to remove an auction from here in the past by just clicking on the item box and then click remove. I have done this many times in the past, even clicking several items at once. It never has taken me to a confirmation screen now or in the past. The only thing that I can think of is that this auction closed without a bid. Are they waiting for me to relist it? I don't want to relist it.
Weird!!

oh it's in there. Well, at least U don't have to worry someone will bid on it! There used to be a bug
where if you checked several auctions and hit delete it wouldn't get rid of them, only one at at time, but since they fixed that, I have had any problems.
What I do is as payments come in, I delete them from my closed auctions page so I can tell which one's I'm still waiting on at a glance.

The same thing happened to me a few days ago. I couldn't delete auctions from my Sold page. It seems to be working fine today.

Thanks guys for letting me know that it finally worked for you. I went back just now and deleted it several times, but this time it will not delete for even a little time!!!
I never did get a reply from Yahoo to this question. Still waiting.

Did you try "refresh" or "reload"? Also try clearing your cache. That might do it. Good luck!

To dc1943
Hi: I finally had the auction go away after about 2 months. I don't know how or why. I had notified Yahoo early on, but they never did contact me. I did give them the auction number and maybe they got it to go away. Hang in there. Maybe yours will go away also.

Glad I'm not the only one.....I have pretty much given up! I can delete one at a time (sometimes) but they are piling up! Also---very confusing when I do resubmit- it gets a new number for the item but the old one is still there and have mistakenly relisted the OLD one! Yahoo software is VERY inferior ---when are they going to get a grip?????

i checked my board as well since everybody here was talking about auctions not going away, it took me 2 hours cause we have over 10,000 auctions running on ten differnent sites, all is good, except yahoo, i see a pebbles pez dispenser toy for $3.00 that was sold over two weeks ago, still on the main auction board, but no one can bid on it, cause it is stuck in a reauction loop status. but it won't go away, and i can't reauction it either, it won't do anything except sit their like a sore thumb. i guess i will think about it tomorrow !!!
