I prefer to sit back and watch YaWho self destruct from this point on. I have a few auctions with ONE (1) bid on them and when they are done so am I. I have been listing on AuXpal and PoOTaH and while it's slow, it's no slower than Yahoo has been.

I know many people are angry over the changes.....I'm an administrator for an online gaming community and anytime a majir change occurs I get a few hundred players contacting my personally with their gripes.
Its never a good idea to form vindicitve plans with the intent on damage.
It is better to do what many sellers are doing and simply not list auctions at this time.
A peaceful strike wil be a lot more effective than a riot.
Yahoo can't do anything with peaceful demonstrators, they can do something and they have the resources to do something about vindictiveness with the intent of damage to their network and their properties.

lovepotions, take grayowl's comments with a grain of salt. Since you are an active person in a gaming community, you know when to spot someone who clearly isn't past maturity levels. I cannot name names due to the CGs...
lovepotions, what game/gaming community to you take place in?

Yahoo is trying very hard to upgrade auctions and get away from all kindergartens.
There should be an age restriction of at least 28 yrs old and even an 9hr iq test in order to sell there.
There ballpark and they have the ball and glove. Good for them.

I post on Yahoe with 3 different usernames for different categories. Approx. 250 items.
I like to keep my adult items seperate from my "regular" items. Today they not only cancelled ALL my adult items (40) and my account with no explanation. Well, only the standard neighborhood watch 1 TOS violation on 2 different auctions which were properly posted in the adult sections. They did not touch my other usernames. I emailed them for an explanation and of course no response.
I have current auctions up and will cease business with them after they run through the cycle. I have always purchased on Yahoe Auctions and even featured items from time-to-time. No more!
A WAY FOR PAYBACK:
Do you use PayDirect and want to play their game? I accept PayDirect and have the funds sent to my Visa Card. it is posted as a "Credit", when it is actually a payment.
I have tried to rectify this situation and basically told from Yahoe that, too bad this is how we do it.
If they are doing this to your account then you can call Visa International and file a complaint and their merchant status can be suspended, if there are many complaints! Call 1.800.847.2911 and tell Visa International that you would like to file an incident report. They must abide by rules like everyone else!
Help give back to Yahoo what they dish out to their customers.
Also I will boycott all Yahoo Merchants. I spent approx. $400.00 on Yahoo Shopping for Xmas and will no longer go that route!

Bluee,
I was a Board Administrator for a game called Monarchy. I am known as Saint/Admin Sophia I don't know if I could post the url here.......but the game is hosted by Shareplay Games.
It had an active player poster base of approx. 9,000 people.
And when I say active I MEAN ACTIVE beyond the obsesive point. For quite a few of the anyways.
People have hooked up in RL, dated, even real marriages have come from this game that will hit its 3rd birthday in March. We have even had 3 conventions and I drove from the Washington DC area to Reno Nevada to meet these folks I deal with on a daily basis.
Anytime changes occur within the coding of the game or new board policies are put in place we always get a revolt lol.
Someone posting like greyowl would get himself banned unfortunately. Wild rants with no constructive critisisms would be ignored. Those who have valid points and who present themselves in a mature maner do get listened to.
Many times the players have sucessfully reversed changes if they are respected members of the community.
greyowl, we'll listen to you if you back up your one-liners with a little more constructive input. But at this rate you are being blown off.
After nearly 3 years in that game it is time for me to move on and I resigned from my post. So I am looking for a new community to be involved with full-time.
btw....spashx.....what is your username for Yahoo? I also sell in the adult categories....

Actually its a little more about you spamming these boards with nothing more than a bunch of threads with one liner rants in ALL CAPS with no point or constructive critisism.
Chill out if you want anyone to listen to you.

the uppercase letters means:
#1 - shouting
#2 - appears like a child at his first time on the net.
#3 - trying to impress people but not succeeding

Grayowl Dahling,
Auctions ARE Gambling, you are subject to the same Laws governing the gaming industry. Breaking these laws online is worse then breaking these laws at a live Casino because online you are also considered a predatory stalker at an international level.
You and several others have been blatantly admitting to committing crimes against the gaming industry and stalking the innocent.
Your next free ride will be in federal prison. Does the term "Freshmeat" mean anything to you?
What I find to be odd is these people Expect something for nothing.
