HERE IT IS, YAHOO, THE ANSWER TO ALL THE PROBLEMS !!!

FIRST ANYONE CAN LIST ALL THE AUCTIONS THEY WANTED,
THEN YOU MAD A RULE OF 1000 AUCTIONS, THEN FEEDBACK RATING POINTS ON TOP OF THAT,

HOW ABOUT THIS,

Yahoo, give each seller only their feedback rating, for auctions, example i have 292 feedback rating on yahoo alone. so i would have 292 auctions to use, after that count for the month, i would pay a listing fee above those auctions example if i posted 500 auctions for the month of feb. i would get 292 auctions for free for my feedback rating, then i would pay 208 auctions at 20 cents to $2-- each...

how about this policy for everyone to see, it would stop spammers, because most of them don't have a good rating, and it would help the sellers who need this for a living to help with their bills, and it would mend the wounds bewteen the sellers, and the management of yahoo...

does anybody see the great plan here !!!
how do you feel about this plan ???
yahoo, how do you fell about this plan ???

from,
the answer man...

I think that ship has sailed...

For whatever reason - stockmarket - revenues - or whatever - YAHOO is going to try it their way...

I look for changes and corrections, maybe even those you suggest, in YAHOO's course as time goes along...

The best we can hope for is that YAHOO stays afloat and puts enough pressure on Ebay to stop them from feeing us to death...and to keep other auctions that want to charge us poor sellers too much from doing so...

Hopefully YAHOO will eventually lower fees & add renewals as time goes on...

It is time to make the best of what's happening - each seller is in a different situation - each seller must decide whether to stay for the ride (at least for a while) or jump this ship...

I wonder how sales are going for those who stayed on board - mine are good for now...

I would go for that- under one condition: Reserve fees must be removed- I will not list on Yahoo as long as there are reserve fees- even if I don't have to pay real $$$ for them.

It would be nice if the FB points could be used for feature fees too - but not a necesity (it would save me $100. - $200. a month)

Startrek- I just adore your attitude. I bet we would be great friends in RL- you are such an optimist!!! I personally like your idea, too- except I think it would be a tad bit unfair to newbie sellers- however I have to agree with RoyRogers. PR bull that Yahoo spouted aside, I still think the agenda was raising revenue first, spam elimination second (if it was truly even a consideration.)

I like that solution. As for the newbies, like any newbie they have to pay the price, go through the initiation, etc. Newbies never start at the top. You start in the mail room and work your way up to president. None of us got our feedback by sitting on our backsides. I have worked hard and long hours for mine. Great idea!!!!

or perhaps newbies could be given a free grace period to build up some positive ratings.

Start all, including newbies with 25 postings a month free, those with feedback above 25 would go by the higher number, anything in excess of these base free posting numbers would pay the insertion fees.

STARTREK, IF MEMORY SERVES ME CORRECTLY YOU ARE THE SAME ONE WHO USED TO SAY HOW GRAND YAHOO WAS AND I TOLD YOU IT WAS NOTHING BUT GARBAGE. WHY DO YOU PEOPLE NOT WAKE UP AND GET WITH AN AUCTION THAT WANTS CUSTOMERS. BY THAT I MEAN BOTH SELLERS AND BIDDERS. YAHOO INSTITUTED THE INGNORANT CREDIT CARD RULE AND COST YOU GUYS AND GALS MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW. NOW THEY CHARGE YOU FEES AND TELL YOU THAT YOU HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING BUT JUMP THROUGH THE FIREY HOOP. I REALLY CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY BANNED SELLING NAZI ITEMS WHEN THEY ARE SO MUCH LIKE THE NAZI'S. YES EBAY IS GETTING OUT OF CONTROL ALSO BUT NOT AS BAD AS YAHOO.
