After the USPS rate increasue, $1.10 is
exactly what they charge for up to $50.00
value. If your complaint is the amount,
and they stated it up front... If on the
other hand they failed to mention that they
require insurance, then shame on them.
I hope you can work it out with the seller.

Why not compromise and tell them you would like delivery confirmation instead--.40 instead of 1.10. If all they are worried about is it getting there, confirmation should be just the thing.
