Everytime I click on the Auction link at Excite, it now sends me to their on-line outlet store. What next? Do they own Yahoo stock???

LOL.....We must have clicked on the excite auction link at the same time. I was just going to post the same thing. The person to person auction link is on the header but this is definitely another move to promote their commercial accounts over the "private party" auctions. All of the Fair Market Sites do more to promote their merchants but this is more extreme.

That happened to my old bookmark, and one has to click the person-to-person link at the top
of the page to get back to the original auction page.

And I was about to move a significant amount of my stock to the Excite auction site. Oh well. Another one bites (the dust)...

I wonder if this sudden desire to mismanage auction sites by on-line auction managers isn't somehow related to the Mad Cow Disease?

The Fair Market Sites have always looked like a second thought or "add on" to the commercial products but it generates traffic to my auctions. I also noticed that Ubid has just added person to person auctions to their site.

I prefer Ubid to excite. Ubid has a big banner across the top of the page promoting the new "Auction Exchange" for person to person auctions.
