I was just thinking, and reading through the thread with all the lists of auction listings that are dropping.

Then I got to thinking, when you want to get the attention of a TV show, you don't write the show you write the advertisers. I'll bet we could get Yahoo's attention, if we started writing those companies who advertise on Yahoo and let Yahoo’s advertisers know that they are no longer getting the number of views they contracted for, and then send them the link to the 01/21/2001 thread, by Dimview on the drop in listings; and some of the comments about the posted numbers as being falsified.

Just a thought but I bet it would get Yahoo's attention where they live, particularly if their advertisers realize that many of the posted number of auctions are fake.

What do you think? Yahoo may not listen to us, but I bet their advertisers will listen to the dramatic drop in numbers and Yahoo will have to listen to their advertisers. Tell the advertisers that because of Yahoo's actions sellers and buyers alike are leaving in masses, and the numbers prove it; tell them that pretty soon there won't be anyone left to see their ads!

Why don't we just start a petition aimed at the advertiser's, or even send them the current petition?

I've given up trying to get their attention. It does no good. It's obvious they have to learn everything the hard way. It's like trying to deal with a bunch of know-it-all kids. And when they fail they will act totally surprised.

Yup, Heygrape. That's why I didn't even try or even get angry when Yahoo announced the listing fees. It would have been a waste of energy and emotion.
