Sent out a WB Letter - after approx. 2-3 days received an e-mail from this person - they had not received any word from me regarding amount to send and also wanted my mailing address. I replied by forwarding the original Winning Bid Letter. So in approx. 2 or so more days, I get another e-mail from this buyer saying that since they still had not heard from me - they were going on and send $x.xx (which was not enough to cover the price of the item along with Shipping, Handling and Del. Conf. Charges). So - I call home and get my husband to check my e-mail letter to this rascal to find out how much both First Class and Priority Mail (their choice) was so I could reply to him - FROM ANOTHER COMPUTER! So, I reply to him WITH both prices. I hear nothing from them. So last night, I gave him negative feedback - and in it I listed both prices again to them - I told them I thought this was possibly the only way I was going to be able to make contact with them - since they weren't receiving my NUMEROUS e-mails and reply e-mails! So, sure enough - they responded to me by giving ME negative feedback - saying I was a Blatant Liar - they had only received 2 e-mails from me! Why would I send ANY e-mails to this person without sending pricing information and my mailing address? - makes absolutely NO sense! So - I printed him out copies of all of the e-mails - WHICH BY THE WAY WAS 5!!! in all !! and mailed them to HIM today (he had given me his name and mailing address)! He, of course, never sent the $x.xx money (which was not enough anyway) for the item! I guess he thought I would just "let it go" - maybe I should have (?) - I think he's just a jerk that changed his mind on purchasing the item...what do ya'll think? P.S. I don't like negs.! and "down here in the South", we don't take lightly to folks calling us LIARS! - when it's not true - and this positively is NOT! Still new at this game and I guess I've got alot more still to learn! Let me know what ya'll think! Thanks!

There's more of this type out there in Yahooland, believe me, I've encountered my share of the worse liars there, they can't even come up with a decent excuse like the "dog peed on the keyboard and I wasn't able to respond," and Yahoo says I'm getting too many negs, yea from deadbeats retalitating against me because I neg'd them. But Yahoo doesn't care, they'd rather threaten to suspend the account of a reliable seller then take action against these deadbeat buyers. You did the best you could, and the more negs these deadbeats get the sooner they will give up and leave.

Hello friend, I have stories too, this buyer won an auction on Yahoo, they waited so long to pay (over a month) so relisted the item on a different auction site, they found me and guess what they out bid everyone else, and sent me a similar e-mail response and story, well the story is long but after they received the item, e-mails me saying how yellow and broken all the beautiful dishes were. I have a large set of these dishes from my mother so I know how nice and costly they really are. Oh yes some were chipped too by there description. So I reply OK, send them back and I will refund the money, another month passes and they respond, Oh I will keep them, Gee one dish was worth the price they paid for a whole set!! BUT THE STORY IS THEY FOLLOWED THESE DISHES TO ANOTHER AUCTION AND OUT BID EVERYONE AGAIN.. THEN TRIED TO CAUSE MORE TROUBLE.. GOOD GRIEF!!

Must be the night for JERKS on Yahoo !
I think we will end up with our FIRST Neg.
Feedback on any auction site after tonight.
High Bidder was from another country...and
usually these are the nice ones..from the
VERY first E-Mail we sent after the auction,
the character has sent us NASTY, INSULTING
letters...referring to us as stupid, cheats,
liers, etc...
When you have OVER 120 ALL EXCELLENT Feedbacks on Yahoo and almost 700 positive
on that other big site...NO Negs.. you
are not "stupid, a cheat, a lier, etc..
This guy is something else !!
IF he decides to leave a neg... I'm all
ready for him !! He already has a neg.
from the past 7 days.

I know how you feel. I hate these buyers that want you reduce your prices and then get mad over the shipping rates. I just had a bidder that didn't like me charging actual shipping. He wanted me to lower the shipping because he was not use to paying actual shipping. I checked his auctions and really got mad. He is charging actual shipping plus $1 for TLC and 2% surcharge if buyer uses Paypal. You are afraid to complain because you don't want someone to give you a bad rating.

In the past couple of weeks, I have had virtually every winning bidder pay me.

I am now also confidently sending the PayDirect notice at the end of every auction, and a number of folks are using it to pay me. Up until the past couple of weeks I had quit using the PayDirect notice because (1) Winners did not use it (2) Winners would received a strange notice from YAHOO that I had cancelled their auctions - even after they had paid and received positive comments. Hopefully YAHOO has ceased this horrible practice. If it has not stopped notifying my winners after 30 days, I will quit using the PayDirect notices again.

Buyers are also e-mailing me to negotiate prices off line - that has never happened to me before. My e-mail address is in every ad. I accepted one and money arrived today.

I contribute the increase in payments by bidders to the new policy by YAHOO. They must realize that the Non-Payers Bidders Link appears after 7 or 10 days, and sellers are no longer held hostage. It is easy to report winning bidders who do not pay.

Don't argue with non-paying winning bidders - I made a notice on the link Yahoo provided to send my message with the initial YAHOO Congratulations e-mail giving payment instructions. After that I send PayDirect Notice & one congratulations e-mail. My next notice to winning bidder will be a click on the non-payment by winning bidder YAHOO link provided right on the ad.

Less stress that way!
