First let me start out by saying that I am a 52 year old man on disability. I sold items on yahoo auction to try and add a little extra income for me and my family. And was doing pretty good. Now due to the new listing fees I am back to square one. I could live with one lump sum fee to list per month, but having to pay per item whether the item sells or not, is just a bit too much. I think that they should have taken the "little man" into consideration before changing things. I know that there are a lot of people out there that thinks that this will help to improve the "quality" of the auctions. But in a truth, there is no quick fix to make anything 100% reliable, this change will just make yahoo more profitable to the higher ups. No matter what business you are in, there is bound to be good & bad in everything. I am now struggling to find another avenue to try to get by.

Thank you for the nice response. I was holding my breath in anticipation of a fire storm of bad news. I have shelves of like new books VCR tapes, cd's, hand made crafts, cd-rom games, NES & SNES games. I am now left with an enormous surplus of items that I do not know what to do with. It is nice to know that there are still some nice people out there in this ever more comercial world.
