I am one of the many that are running the rest of my free auctions. When they run out, I am moving them. HOWEVER, I just received a notice that a question was asked on my auction. The Question was:
" "Have you heard about how many sellers have gone to other sites? Many sellers have moved to www.epier.com or www.auxpal.com because of the "no charging" policy they have and the easy set-up of Auctions. Where the sellers go, ....buyers follow."
and then leaves his id for AUXPAL. This really is VERY tacky. If you are that person, Please cut it out. I have never done business with this person, ever! Yep, I got "Spammed" It wastes my time reading this stuff. and it is very irritating.
If you know who you are, Mister Spaminator, I would appreciate your stopping this practice. It is irratating and wastes my time. AND for your information, I am already selling on Auxpal and Epier in preparation for my Great Escape!
Sorry everyone, I had to spout off. This moving auctions stuff is really getting to me. Thanks for listening, I will crawl back into my shell now.

Thank you very much for the feedback dimview & dman3. Very interestingly the spammer's Yahoo id is the same as a person who lists on these threads. I am not mentioning any names. I dont think I want to get Yahoo involved. We will all be leaving soon anyway. It is just so darn irritating.
Thanks for your help!

First answer the question to keep it online and it will show. Even a question mark etc will do. Then I go back to the auction once the question is posted for all to see and hit neighborhood watch, in the little message note: this is my auction, the question box is being used for spam.
Then if you can, also send it to [email protected]. Email that originates from a yahoo box can be done this way also, just click the forward to, then type the address [email protected] then send. If you have aol or if the email originates from aol just forward to TOSSpam. A pain but it helps get these bozo's out.
This is annoying, I work online, dont work offline at all, we are in the middle of an energy crisis where I live so online time has been hard to get, for me to have to answer irrelevant questions for this "Social Club" is a waste of my time.
I just got a "lick it or stick it" message. I stuck it alright! I just wonder what kind of pleasure these people are getting out of this.

rollanotherone,
If it's difficult for you to get time online during the California energy crisis, may I suggest you quit wasting your time insulting us here on the AW Yahoo boards, and conserve your internet connection for those who *appreciate* your "discourse".

annoying is hardly the word. What with buyers thinking that I raised the shipping rates and moving my junk listings I'm just a
little annoyed anyway.
Did I mention deadbeats? I've never seen so many.

Forwarding the "lick it and stick it" spam worked!! I just received a letter from yahoo confirmimg it was indeed originated from a yahoo account which they are notifying.
There will be more dead beat bidders until the air clears of them. This is why there is no activity at yahoo. Imagine what is happening to the buyers!!! it is easy to contact them even if their email isn't listed. Yahoo is like aol, your screen name(buyer-seller name) is your email. I dont use yahoo mail but it is forwarded to my aol
box.
Funny how the two sites you mentioned is where everybody is going. If you have their nickname for these sites go there and report them. I did this with one but it was for some other site, this was over a week ago, this site has not even sent me a canned letter.
I responded to the stoopid question, found the site, found a "contact US" link, gave them the yahoo item # where this guy left an ad for this other site. I asked them if this was the type of behaviour they encourage there members to use.
I also used the new deadbeat bidder link the other day, they actually paid this morning. It was easy, just click, click. Yahoo sends them a reminder to pay or contact the seller.
Granee- I come to auction watch's message boards because I know many of these jerks spend most there days here coniving there next attack . I use the same name here because I have nothing to hide, I am leaving myself up for attack by them on purpose, to help get rid of them so I can go back to work selling. These people are diliberately distracting me, apparently you have never gone thru the question box process in the middle of loading an auction. When they are done with there attack I will be too busy once again selling to be chew the fat with you. Until then, deal with it.
These boards are intended to get help for using yahoo, it is an assistant. I am more interested to get real info, read peoples real problems and resolutions. If I can help why not? As far as my reserving my energy to get my work done, well as long as I can not get my work done with these nuisances, I will be here hollering just as loud as the rest of you.
That's okay, at least when they pick on me they are leaving someone else alone.
Everytime an auction house changes something, it doesn't matter how little that change is there is an uprising.
I am sorry These people are going thru the same crapola I am. MAny have auctions and real jobs outside the home. I am also relieved that I'm not the only one and hope more of you realize the grass isn't always greener, these people are just going elsewhere to abuse others.
