Want an easy way to make money?? Do like Yahoo! does and charge a client $199.00 to review their site for submission to Yahoo!, and then if Yahoo! does not like the submitted site, they just tell the client sorry but we can not use your site, and we will keep your $199.00 anyway, Bye now... Thats what Yahoo! can do, so be carefull, site submission, just like their auction listings is no longer free!!! Bye Yahoo!.

You mean to tell me that it costs $199 to submit a site to the Yahoo search engine? When did this happen?

Actually, Yahoo internet search engine is one of the worst. They'd have to pay me to register my web pages there.

IT cost near $199 For a business to submit there website for consideration of being listed on yahoo for one year.

How ever personel websites are list free through recomendations of others its yahoo has alway ran this way for many years.

Business cant list for free on most major search engine they must pay a large yearly fee just like business must pay for large yellow page ads.

So if you want to get your personal website listed on yahoo for free the key is to get every friend you know with a computer to recomend your website to yahoo for listing the more request they receive the more like you will be listed.

I have submitted sites to Yahoo search several times, but now I can't find the free link to recommend a site. The only thing I can find is the Business Express link. This is definitely different than it was a year ago.. That's ok though because I like real search engines anyway.

There is a way to submit a business website for free. What you need to do is use the regional setting, and your site will also appear in the main site once listed. The url is listed below. Just click your state, scroll to the bottom and hit "suggest a site", procede to step 1, and click standard submission.

While I admit it is not easy to get listed in Yahoo for free (It has taken up to a few months) - As far as I know, you are not required to pay to register a business site still, just if you want the registration "expedited"
