Ok,
Heres the deal, I have NOT had 1 bid on any of my yahoo auctions since 'dooms day" Jan 10..
Will today I get (winning) bids on two items
I have...
I thought well...Hummmm this is good, one person to buy two items.. (It's happen before) So I send the Normal replay with
all the pay information (Pay by check Money order, paypal... ect.....)
So the person replays (as expected)
BUT heres the catch... They say they will
pay by sending a check snail mail, and
will have the mailing address with the check..
Hummm I have had plenty of people send checks, MO.. Personal .. ect..
BUT, I NEVER had anyone "refuse" to email me their address....
There e-mail address is even a "hotmail" address....
Their Yahoo ID has NO ratings (NEW)
I have even email them back and stated the
address would be nice, to have it boxed and ready to ship..
I Wonder if someone is going around and closing out peoples auctions...
HAS THIS HAPPEND to anyone lately ??????....
Time will tell, I usually give it 10 days..
But heck.. it was only a few days left for the free listings.....

You could be describing me! I've been picking up some real bargains on Yahoo the past few days. But I can't remember my new address, and I'm too lazy to go look for the address book. So I just tell them I'll send the address with the check. And I really do send the check.

I have had several people send payment and say that they don't like to have their home address used through email. I had one tonight in fact.
