If any of you can recommend a National shipping service I would appreciate it. The item we have is too big for US Mail, UPS or FedEx (HUGE Moose Antlers, and we don't want to break them in half). I got an email from a person in Virginia (we live in California) who wants to bid but needs to know shipping cost before he does. This is the first time I have needed another carrier, and I would appreciate some names if you have used them and found them to be reliable. We would be packing them ourselves, so we need just transport.

THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE!!

Mail Boxes Etc. But you might want to take them over there and get a shipping quote first.

HEYGRAPE...Thanks - already tried that - they made the sign of the cross with their fingers when I approached with the antlers - this Moosey was huge - antlers measure 50 X 40 X 24 inches - overall size too big for standard mail shipping outlets.

Do appreciate your help!

greyowl - thanks for the suggestions but they rejected me because I am in the US and not Canada.

We got these at an Estate Sale of a hunter - his wife would only let him keep the DEER head - but the Moose..."NO WAY IS THAT MOOSE HANGING ON MY WALL!!!" He gave it to someone else whose wife haad a better attitude towards dead animal heads in the house.

Try Greyhound or any of the national moving company/tranfer business.

If ya wouldn't have chopped the damn antlers off the stupid moose's head, you could've just given him the shipping address and had him trot there!
