Hey grayowl,
That email is total BS. There's a person that listed about 70 adult videos in the men's jeans category. I reported them, just to see what would happen, and nothing was done about it. I personally think that Yahoo is not interested in canceling any more auctions at this point.

I had a a couple of Playboy Magazines in the Magazine Collectible area, which is not in the adult section.
I apparently rec'd a couple of neighborhood watches, on the 3rd one, I rec'd an e-mail from Yahoo. I did NOT move it to the adult category. On the 4th neighborhood watch they themselves moved it to the adult books & magazines section.
They did not cancel the auction. So, I guess they pick-and-choose who they cancel.
My adult username had 40 auctions that were canceled along with the username in early January for exactly the same thing.
I searched for every adult magazine in the non-adult section and found that they all had at least one neighborhood watch on them.
Obviously, someone is hunting them down!
BTW the Magazines section had 19,125 listings on Jan 3rd.....now 1,731
I have other sections compared at:

with an update coming late tonight. When all last minute free listings will expire. Except for bulk listings!

Some of us let our kids buy online, putting adult content in a non adult catagory is not only rude but pedophilic! my kids have more money to spend then I do, keep it where it belongs please. We know it's there, it's a part of life, not something I want my 8 year old to see who reads at 7th grade level and could come accross this. You have no excuse, playboy is adult content, if you think not, you have a big phsychological problem that needs to be addressed. God Bless you, get help.

I wouldn't blame a seller for putting an adult item on an adult site, no matter the category. Eight year olds don't belong on Yahoo. Anyway, my ten year old looks up things, and if she came across an adult listing she knows it's for adults only and wouldn't look. If she did, she knows nudity is not bad or shocking.
I also don't believe Yahoo should tell sellers the best place to list an item. I list items where I believe the buyers are, that's my perogative.

I hardly ever agree with Rollanotherone but I do this time put your adult items in the adult section. If for no other reason than then I can find them.
