I receive yahoo questions about auctions and sometimes the auctions end before I can reply to the questions. Is there any way I can answer these questions after the auction is over. I hate that I cannot respond, I do not want people to think that I am ignoring them or that I do not care about their questions. I just do not know how to reply once the auction has ended.

inless the questions were asked by the winner of the auction or the one who asked the question left there email address there is no real way to answer them that I know of .

Frist off I do this and recomned it I put my email address on all my auctions and ask that people ask any question they have before they bid this helps I get the question in my email and can reaply directly also if the auction closes with out a winner I can ad the info to it when I relist

also I aplyed for a free voice mail account I can receive the voice mail by phone through a toll free number from anywhere or listen while im online I put the link to send voice mail on all my auctions as well .

if the item already sold and the buyer didnt ask the question and you know your item is sold I wouldnt worry about the unanswered question so much for this time .

comunication is important for your auction sales and the best way to comunicate is buy email also with yahoo you can get yahoos messanger and people with questions can message you when your online there question right from your auction while there question is freash in there mind also you can track bids and sold and closed auction with messanger can notify you when there are bids and wins on any of your goods .

I know the frustration you have. I had someone ask a question once and I tried my best to answer it, but when I went to the 'questions asked' so I could answer it, it said that "no questions had been asked" ! I finally just edited the auction and answered it that way, hoping whoever it was would see the answer.

I wrote Yahoo about the glitch or whatever in their system, but I never got an answer.

Didn't sell the item either, very frustrating.

Woody;
This happens to me all the time. The Yahoo Support response was un-helpful to say the least. Not one of their posibilities was applicable. I e-mailed them several times and still no help. I've given up on the "Question and Answer" feature. I've gone so far as to ask the buyer to e-mail me directly and not to use this BUGGY feature in my listing's description.
